Prior to application of condenser coatings reclamation of pitting, cavities over tube and sheet interface is done. Condenser coatings protect against Bi-Metallic / Galvanic corrosion of tube sheets which are exposed / immersed continuously in seawater, effluent, brackish water along with wet temperatures up to 135 °C. Condenser coatings are designed with desired engineered strengths to resist the operational conditions of condensers without getting cracked or de-laminated from surface which is seen with conventional brushable ceramic liquids.
ProCoat condenser coatings are based on pure Novolac polymer systems and capable to offer barrier protection to tube sheets from Bi-Metallic / Galvanic corrosion by eliminating physical and electrical contact of handling medium. Also, condenser coatings can handle different co-efficient of expansion of different materials of construction.
